This position will focus on fulfillment of active account ad campaigns and the retention of current customers. The Accounting continues the sales process after the Field Sales Representative (FSR) has opened the sale of a new or existing account. The primary responsibilities include account retention, monitoring campaign fulfillment, contact the client for ad order and copy instructions, create ad layouts, weekly discussion with clients for any copy or artwork changes. This position will work collaboratively with their assigned team to ensure exceptional customer service to the company’s current and prospective advertisers.
Candidate should have intermediate training and or experience in sales, ability to communicate in a persuasive manner in order to gain acceptance for yourself and your ideas, consultative sales style demonstrated by effective listening skills and the ability to determine client needs through proper needs assessment techniques, proven track record and skill in managing and maintaining client relationships, ability to be self motivated and plan daily priorities in a way that ensures your success, strong phone skills, strong oral presentation skills and ability to field questions from clients, advanced training and or experience in overcoming client objections, ability to think creatively and holistically along company product lines as it pertains to preparing plans and proposals, skilled in managing time wisely, leaving ample time in each day for high gain activities. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as familiarity with database programs a plus.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; BA/BS in Advertising, Marketing or related field a plus. Minimum of 1-2 year sales experience; a track record of excellent customer relationships. Advertising experience a plus.
