North East Regional Director
Location: Northeast Region (Boston, Philadelphia, Worcester, or Middletown)

Objective:
To accelerate revenue growth in print and digital through Promotions Sales.

Requirements of Champion:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve goals achievement in print and digital;§ Demonstrated ability in growing accounts or generating new business; 
  • Demonstrated ability to sell integrated audience based solutions;
  • Demonstration of effective coaching and training skills this includes a willingness to develop team members and an ability to transfer knowledge;
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize and achieve deadlines;
  • 30% travel estimate.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop Market Champions in each of the markets and groups within Region;
  • Oversee the development of promotions plans and calendars with local Champions. This includes monthly reviews to look for growth opportunities and market updates for plans/ pipeline;
  • Oversee the launch and sales efforts for all Enterprise/National Programs to maximize results divisionally;
  • Ensure markets schedule planning calls with The Corporate Team for all Best of The Best Programs 3 months prior to desired launch;
  • Strategic Field Visits to build Champion and Team Competences as well to build accounts through the identification of account growth opportunities and participation on four legged calls;
  • Achieve Divisional revenue and pipeline goals for custom advertiser promotions via team sales.This includes leading strategic prospecting, creative audience based solutions, assisting markets with building proposals and support on four-legged calls for larger accounts;
  • Identify opportunities that can be leveraged for growth through scale in category, franchise and/or scope;
  • Coordinate Planning Meetings with market leadership and the Promotions Team for Regional or National Programs that require syndication;
  • Ensure finance is tracking all promotions revenues through the GL codes and provide program results for contests;
  • Ensure close collaboration with the Divisional Leadership to achieve market priorities and with the Promotions Team to ensure all best practices are deployed to increase revenues, engagement and advertiser results;
  • Participate in all development opportunities to benefit team and individual results and collaboration with the Promotions Team for Team Trainings;
  • Oversee Market Champions in Identifying Case Study Opportunities to Scale Category and Franchise Successes.
