Summary

Gatehouse Media is seeking an experienced Marketing Finance Executive to support the Consumer Revenue team.  This role is responsible for managing the revenue of GHM’s subscription business for both print and digital subscriptions including forecasting and budgeting.  The position will oversee a regional planning team that will manage all forecasting, revenue and expense initiatives.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervises regional staff, either directly or indirectly
  • Develops region-wide goals, objectives, policies and procedures in adherence with corporate protocols and policies
  • Prepares regional consumer marketing budget, forecasts and flash reporting
  • Ensures that the VP Planning and SVP Marketing are kept fully informed on the condition of the region and of any trends, events, or emerging issues of significance to the region's success
  • Provides timely KPI’s and standardized reporting to senior management
  • Servers as liaison between consumer marketing and local property leadership
  • Implements marketing plan and/or other planning projects as directed
  • Produces and reviews all regional reports and presentations
  • Evaluates regional applicability of consumer marketing initiatives and develops implementation plans where appropriate or as directed
  • Works cross functionally with Marketing Innovation, Acquisition and Customer Experience & Retention to meet budgeted growth, revenue and expense goals for the assigned region.

 

Position Requirements

  • Ability to synthesis large datasets and respond accordingly
  • Executive presence
  • Considerable knowledge of principles of personnel management including supervision, training and performance evaluation
  • Considerable knowledge of the methods and techniques of research and analysis
  • Considerable knowledge of the principles of budgeting and finance
  • Periodic travel within the assigned region
  • Knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office (superior proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel), Tableau, Google Enterprise Suite and SFMC

  • Proven management skills and ability to manage day-to-day operations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including the editing, oversight and/or preparation of reports and the presentation of information senior management
