Summary

Provides processing and administrative support to the Human Resources and Operational Leadership team by processing all HR events in ADP Human Capital Management System. Completes standard reporting and interacts with third party vendors to process unemployment claims and employment verifications.

Essential Job Functions

  • Processes a high volume of new hire paperwork, terminations, salary changes, job changes, status changes, location and address changes in ADP system in an accurate and timely manner while verifying all required documents are submitted to payroll and/or information is entered in system
  • Develops strong relationship across all disciplines of HR to fully understand HR business processes and meet processing needs in an accurate and timely manner
  • Completes assigned standard reporting in ADP to support business needs and objectives
  • Provides support to managers and employees regarding ADP system maintenance including password resets and system navigation for HR processes
  • Identifies and escalates data discrepancies to management as appropriate
  • Provides administrative support to HR leadership as assigned
  • Processes required information for unemployment claims as requested
  • Processes required information for employment verifications as requested
  • Completes all other duties as assigned
  • Partners with Time and Attendance System Specialist to assist with system maintenance as assigned
  • Partners with FMLA, Worker’s Compensation, and Benefit Administration teams in order to assist in required processing tasks as assigned

 

 

Position Requirements

Knowledges, Skills, Abilities:

  • Functional knowledge of HR systems, ADP experience preferred but not required
  • Working understanding of the human resource function
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

 

Education & Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business/HR Administration
  • 5+ years working in HR administration role
  • Experience with web-based HRIS systems
  • Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
