Description

ThriveHive is seeking an experienced Senior Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Manager who will serve as an example and level of support in ensuring superior campaign management and delivery of all Search Engine Marketing campaigns.  This position is responsible for maintaining his/her own accounts. This role will be expected to serve as a leader on the team – involved in the training and coaching of other team members, being proactive in providing industry updates/product learnings during team meetings, and serving as a product/strategy expert.


Responsibilities:

  • Full management of client search engine marketing programs

    • Design and setup new campaign orders, including, but limited to, selection of keyphrases, drafting of ad copy in English, determining account organization & structure, and applying relevant settings

    • Oversee management of budgets and pacing of each campaign

    • Regular performance review and optimization of paid search campaigns

    • Provide ongoing account recommendations around strategy and budget for continued client growth and success

    • Active engagement with daily reporting distributed by team management

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on paid search

    • Be an expert in ppc and stay abreast of new technologies in the search and, overall, digital space.

    • Role may require presenting and conveying of knowledge by leading trainings or product discussions

  • Serve as an expert in the field of paid search, offering guidance and explanation to Customer Support/Success team members on a regular basis and, at times, sales executives and customers directly

  • Collaboration cross-functionally with landing page designers’/conversion specialists to further drive and enhance customer results

  • Self-manage and prioritize daily tasks across a variety of activities, ensuring that we are meeting established SLAs and standards, while maintaining a high level of quality

  • Assist with pre-sale strategy, consultation, and onboarding on an as needed basis

 

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Marketing Degree preferred

  • 3-5 years experience with digital marketing, with a minimum of 2 years experience with paid search through Google and Bing Ads

  • Exceptional copywriting and editorial skills

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to drive meaningful actions from large data sets

  • Working knowledge of (Google) Analytics, conversion tracking, and e-commerce programs

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

  • An organized individual with great attention to detail and focus on quality of results

  • A self-motivated individual; a good team player

  • Takes accountability and ownership of his/her own work.

  • Comfortable with public speaking, as well as designing/conducting trainings either in-person or remotely

  • You will be required to be Google Adwords Certified, Bing Ads Certified and we’d prefer a candidate with Google analytics knowledge and who is certified and well versed in Google analytics
